These remarkable fellows were selected from almost 160 applicants for the fellowship this year. They will receive full funding to complete their master's studies in the U.S. beginning August 2019.
The program is funded by Funded by the Albanian – American Development Foundation (AADF) and the Biberaj Foundation.
MIP fellows are placed at U.S. universities that match their academic goals, provide outstanding support to international students, and meet the budgetary requirements of the MIP Program. Students receive living stipends, insurance, and ongoing logistical support from American Councils staff throughout their time in the U.S. The program begins with a Beginning of Program Conference at the AADF office in Tirana during the summer prior to departure.
We had many outstanding applications for the 2019 graduate fellowship awards! If you applied this year but did not receive funding, we hope you will consider applying next year. We will be announcing the application deadline for the 2020 fellowship in May of 2019. Please continue to check here for updates and details.
