The program is funded by Funded by the Albanian – American Development Foundation (AADF) and the Biberaj Foundation.
MIP fellows are placed at U.S. universities that match their academic goals, provide outstanding support to international students, and meet the budgetary requirements of the MIP Program. Students receive living stipends, insurance, and ongoing logistical support from American Councils staff throughout their time in the U.S. The program starts with a Beginning of Program Conference at the AADF office in Tirana during the summer prior to departure.
