Yllka Sela is currently an MIP fellow, pursuing a Master of Business Administration with a focus on Strategy and Innovation at Brandeis University. She completed her Bachelor's in Economics and furthered her academic education with a Master of Science in Public Administration at the Faculty of Economy, University of Tirana. She was a full scholarship recipient for two consecutive years at the Bucharest University of Economic Studies Summer School, where she earned certifications in ‘Public Value, Politics, and Public Management in the European Union’ and ‘Globalization through Business and Management’. Yllka has extensive professional experience. For eight years, she worked as an advisor for GIZ Albania, designing and implementing projects in fields such as economic development, the environment, and international cooperation. Yllka has been teaching Economic Policies and Microeconomics at a private university for four years, while also providing transferable soft skills training to young professionals in Albania and other Western Balkan countries.
