2026Ana Maria Cibuku is an Albanian veterinarian and public health professional with a background in veterinary medicine, food safety, and public administration. She completed her Integrated Scientific Master’s Degree in Veterinary Medicine at the Agricultural University of Tirana and furthered her academic experience in Turin and Vienna.
During her three-year experience at Albania’s National Food Authority, she progressively advanced from food safety inspector to Coordinator of the Sector for Food of Animal Origin. During this period, she developed specialized expertise in the assessment and application of legislation concerning food safety and public health.
Her professional experience has allowed her to work at the intersection of veterinary medicine, food safety, regulation, and international trade, gaining experience in inspections, export certification, and the implementation of national and international food safety standards.
